Amateur Requirements
An appointment is required for new Body Art Cards (including amateur cards), renewal cards, and duplicates. Appointments tin can exist made through the online scheduling system. Clients who demand duplicate or replacement cards can come in without an appointment and are seen as capacity allows.

Because of the closure, first time Body Fine art Card applicants with either an Employment Verification or Feel Verification form date-stamped past the Southern Nevada Health District Body Art program are able to work with their stamped form. Artists with stamped forms accept until June 30, 2022, to schedule the torso art exam and complete the menu process. Body artists who hold a card that expired March one, 2019, or afterwards, too as those needing a duplicate Body Art Menu, take until June 30, 2022, to renew their card or obtain a indistinguishable menu. Whatsoever artists with cards that expired earlier March one, 2019, must retake the body art exam when renewing their card.
Per the Southern Nevada Health District Regulations Governing the Sanitation and Safety of Tattoo Establishments and the Regulations Governing the Sanitation and Prophylactic of Body Piercing Establishments, applicants must have a minimum of vi months continuous grooming in a duly-licensed institution in Nevada, another land or country before they can receive a permanent Body Art Card.
Applicants who do not see this requirement must serve an apprenticeship for a minimum of six months in a wellness permitted establishment. All health permit holders have been provided with the procedures for apprentices who will be working in their establishments.
Apprentices must have a Trunk Art Apprentice Menu before they tin can begin their apprenticeship.
The requirements for a Body Fine art Apprentice Card are similar to a Body Art Carte, except the amateur will need to provide the following additional information.

- Upon completion of at least six months training, the applicant must submit a completed Experience Verification Grade. PDF 79KB
Note: Torso Art Cards will not be issued without written documentation from the health permitted establishment where bidder will exist operating.
